Our rates include base site rates and variable rates which allow us to give the lowest price possible for the services requested by each individual guest.

Site rates are fixed and include ample occupancy and vehicles allowances. Everything common to ALL guests are calculated into the Fixed Site Rate.

Variable rates are charged when a guest requests or requires something above the allowances, or a service not applicable to all guests. These rates will include pet fees, cancellation fees, and additional people fees. These are based on facility usage above the norm, incurring additional expense to the resort.

Most people reasonably understand that a business must make a profit just as any person must earn a wage, otherwise someone doesn’t get paid. We do not take the subject of rates lightly as it affects us both.

IF we set rates which are too high or too low, we won’t be around to serve you in the future. Setting a rate which allows us to meet your needs and expectations while covering our expenses and profit is a win for us both. We’d rather be upfront about our rates and focus on our exceptional hospitality.

Half of RV’ers travel with pets. There is a cost to owning and hosting pets, no matter how you slice it. Even though we welcome your family pet, they cost the resort money and time, and the cost is more than “just a few dog bags” as some have suggested. Dogs eliminate one to two times a day and it doesn’t get flushed down the toilet. Risk management and sanitation is a major expense. Commercial Insurance companies take it seriously, and we do to. The numbers are the numbers, they don’t lie. To obtain insurance we are required to have rules and an effective monitoring system in place to make sure disallowed breeds are not in the resort. Most people are honest and responsible, but the few that aren’t cause everyone else to bare their costs. We want the resort to be clean and safe, and the cost to achieve this is impacted by guests with pets, thus the pet charge.

This covers increased facility usage, pool chemicals, cleaning labor, restroom supplies, water consumption, electric usage (daily guest), and garbage collection. Insurance rates increase with increased occupancy because exposure increases. This charge will not be effective until the facilities and amenities in Phase II are ready for everyone to enjoy.

We incur card processing fees for the amount processed on your credit card at the time of the initial reservation and for the same amount when we refund your card. The card processing company is the business to process money no matter which way it goes. But we do offer an alternative by allowing you to change the dates of your reservation at no additional cost.

The extended stay rates are much lower than the daily rate which allows you an economically sound way to stay with us longer! You get the same quality in larger quantities. To maintain this lower rate, we are putting the power in your hands ☺, literally. You are only charged for what you use, and you are only charged the rates we are charged. Nevada state regulations prohibit the mark up of profit on electric by RV Park facilities. You can view your usage at any time through the Wild Energy Portal.
